monday.com pricing and ROI calculation for small business: Is it worth it?
Our leadership is questioning the $120/month cost for monday.com (Standard plan for 10 people). We currently use a mix of spreadsheets and free tools. How can I calculate and present the ROI? What metrics have convinced other small businesses to stick with monday.com or upgrade?

Calculate three metrics: 1) Time saved × hourly rate (track time spent on manual updates before/after), 2) Error reduction value (how much do mistakes cost?), 3) Revenue enablement (can you track deals better?). We calculated $2,400/month in saved time alone. Also factor in the cost of switching - data migration, training, and productivity loss. monday.com's automation alone saved us 15 hours/week on status updates.
Request the enterprise trial and run a pilot. Track specific KPIs: cycle time, task completion rate, client satisfaction. Present the data to leadership with clear before/after. Often the ROI isn't in the tool cost but in the visibility and coordination improvements.
